A fresh look for 5mile.nz

You might notice things look a little different around here.

We've given the website a tidy up. Same 5 Mile Distilling, same spirits, same Taupō distillery, just a fresher home for it all.

The shop is easier to browse. You can see the full range at a glance, and finding the gin or vodka you're after takes one click instead of three. Free shipping kicks in over $100, same as before.

Booking a Founders Tour now lives front and centre. Pick a date, pick a time, you're sorted. No more emailing back and forth to lock it in.

We've also made room to tell more of the story. How 5 Mile started in a covid lockdown kitchen with 19 failed batches before one worked. The people and places we proudly support. The thinking behind each spirit and why we make them the way we do.

Everything's faster too. Pages load quicker, especially on a phone, which is where most of you are reading this.

What hasn't changed: the cellar door at 16b Oruanui Street is still open, the tours still run Monday to Saturday, and the spirits are still made by hand on the shores of Lake Taupō.
