From Bottle to Forest: Our Tree Planting Journey
As a proud member of the 1% for the Planet initiative, we at 5 Mile Distilling pledge to donate 1% of our revenue to environmental causes every month. Our chosen recipient is Greening Taupō, a local organisation deeply invested in the revitalisation of our green spaces through their dedicated tree planting efforts.
Today, however, we did more than just donate; we got our hands dirty. We had the extraordinary opportunity to actively participate in the nurturing of our environment by helping plant the very trees that our donations facilitate.
This experience is not just a reminder of our ongoing commitment to environmental preservation, but also an incredibly humbling experience to see, firsthand, the impact of our contributions.
